Sweet x Creatures
The third personal creation illustrated book, “Swee!chers” was released in 2018, using cakes as the motif.

Without changing its stance of “designing a motif that can be recognized at a glance,” “linking the characteristics of the motif to the ecology,” and “tackling something seriously stupid.”
It is a POP, cute design that is a complete change from the past two works.

Excerpts from the text:

“Oh dear, but their ecology is not sweet. Take a peek into the world of the Swee!chers.” 

“Having lost the staple food wars of the past, the Swee!chers were relegated to the corner of life forms as ‘beings that can get by without’ Sweeties. But after many twists and turns, they are now a threat to the staple foods…”

The “Swee!chers” are especially popular in Europe, where the sweets culture is very active.
